Product introduction
At Shandong Wanneng Group, we provide high-quality Food Grade Stainless Steel Tanks designed for the safe storage and transportation of food and beverages. Constructed with premium materials such as 304 or 316 stainless steel, these tanks meet stringent hygiene and safety standards, ensuring that your products maintain their freshness and integrity.
Our Food Grade Stainless Steel Tanks are equipped with advanced features including a liquid level gauge, temperature control system, stirring device, and discharge valve. These components work together to provide a reliable, hygienic, and efficient storage solution for various industries, including food and beverage, dairy, pharmaceuticals, and more.
The working principle behind these tanks is to create a controlled environment that isolates air and bacteria, preventing food from oxidizing and deteriorating. The temperature control system ensures that the contents of the tank remain at an optimal low temperature, inhibiting the growth of harmful microorganisms. Additionally, the stirring device continuously mixes the contents to prevent stratification or sedimentation, ensuring that the food ingredients remain evenly distributed.

Product Features
Corrosion Resistance
Food grade stainless steel tanks are usually made of 304 or 316 stainless steel. These materials are rich in chromium and can form a dense chromium oxide film on the surface of stainless steel to prevent external oxygen or corrosive substances from corroding the steel itself, thereby protecting the internal metal structure. This corrosion resistance ensures that the storage tank will not release harmful substances during long-term use, avoids food contamination, and extends the service life of the equipment. It is particularly suitable for the storage of acidic foods such as juice.
Temperature Tolerance
Food grade stainless steel tanks can withstand high temperatures and can usually maintain structural stability and no deformation at high temperatures above 120°C. This makes it suitable for food processing scenarios that require high-temperature sterilization, such as pasteurization processes with temperatures of 72-100°C. This feature ensures that the storage tank can be safe and stable in high-temperature sterilization, steam sterilization and other links.
Easy to Clean
The surface of stainless steel is smooth, especially the stainless steel storage tanks that have been mirror-polished. The roughness of the inner wall can be reduced to less than 0.4 microns, making it difficult for food residues and microorganisms to adhere, reducing the risk of contamination. At the same time, the storage tank is easier to clean and improves production efficiency.
Thermal Insulation
Food grade stainless steel tanks can be equipped with thermal insulation interlayers. By filling polyurethane or adopting a vacuum interlayer design, they can effectively isolate the outside temperature, and the thermal insulation effect can reach 4-6 hours or even longer. This design helps to keep the temperature of the stored liquid stable, especially for liquids that need to be kept warm for a long time, such as milk and fermented foods, to ensure that the quality and flavor of the product are not affected by external temperature changes.
Pressure Resistance
Food grade stainless steel tanks can withstand a certain internal pressure, especially tanks used to store gas or fermented foods, such as beer fermentation tanks, whose pressure resistance values can usually reach 0.1 to 0.4 MPa. This pressure resistance is due to the high yield strength of stainless steel. Yield strength refers to the pressure to which a material is subjected when it undergoes permanent deformation. If the yield strength of the material is high enough, the tank can maintain its shape. This characteristic of stainless steel improves the safety of the storage tank and makes it widely used in special scenarios such as food fermentation and gas storage.
Preservation of Food Taste
Stainless steel materials are chemically stable, will not react with ingredients in food, will not release metal ions or odors, so food will not be affected during storage. Compared to other materials, such as plastic or ordinary carbon steel, food-grade stainless steel is better suited to preserve the original flavor and composition of food.
