Product Description
The Roof Mount Whole House Fan is installed vertically on the roof and features a mushroom-shaped hood designed to protect against rain and snow. It is equipped with a loose-leaf damper that opens automatically during operation. When the fan stops, the damper closes to minimize indoor heat loss. This damper is an optional accessory and can be selected by the user when placing an order. Both the mushroom-shaped hood and the fan casing are made of fiberglass. They are detachable and separate, allowing for easy installation and maintenance. The impeller is directly connected to the motor and uses wing-shaped fiberglass blades, giving the fan excellent aerodynamic performance. During operation, the fan handles industrial air. With a standard motor, it can operate at temperatures up to ≤40ºC; with an explosion-proof motor, it handles up to ≤55ºC. If the operating conditions exceed these limits, a customized design must be specified at the time of order.
