What Is The Installation Process Of Underground Water Tank

The installation process of Underground Water Tanks mainly includes four main steps: site selection, foundation treatment, water tank assembly and backfilling.
First, the site selection stage needs to consider the geological conditions of the location of the water tank, the groundwater level, and the distance from the building to ensure that the selected location can meet the safe use requirements of the water tank. Secondly, foundation treatment is the key link. According to the size and weight of the water tank, the foundation excavation is carried out, and the gravel layer and concrete cushion layer are laid to ensure that the bottom is flat and stable. At the same time, a drainage system needs to be set up to prevent water accumulation from damaging the water tank.
Next, enter the water tank assembly stage. On the basis of the prepared foundation, start assembling the water tank according to the design drawings and technical specifications. If the water tank is a prefabricated part, it is necessary to hoist each part into place and connect and fix it; if it is made on site, it is necessary to build a formwork, tie steel bars, pour concrete and other processes to complete the main structure of the water tank. During the assembly process, special attention should be paid to the sealing to ensure that there is no leakage at each interface.
The last step is backfilling. After confirming that the water tank has been assembled and passed the necessary tests, earth backfilling can be carried out. When backfilling, the water should be compacted layer by layer, and the thickness of each layer should not be too large to avoid excessive lateral pressure on the side wall of the water tank. The entire installation process must strictly follow relevant standards and safety regulations to ensure that the Underground Water Tank is stable and reliable and provides users with long-term and effective water storage services. After the installation is completed, a series of tests, such as full water test, are required to verify the overall performance of the water tank.
