Product Description
The Horizontal Concealed Fan Coil Unit is typically installed above the suspended ceiling of the air-conditioned room. To allow easy access for disassembly and maintenance, the ceiling must include a movable inspection panel. The unit is supported by independent brackets or hangers, which should allow for convenient removal and servicing. Whether to use standard or vibration-damping hangers depends on the specific design requirements.
When connecting the unit to the air supply outlet, return air outlet, or ductwork, flexible hoses must be used. Common materials include canvas hoses or aluminum foil hoses, with a typical length ranging from 150 to 250 mm.
This unit may include a return air bellows, and the return outlet is often fitted with a filter-both features depend on the system design. If the unit does not include a bellows, the return outlet is installed directly on the ceiling, utilizing the ceiling space as a return air plenum. If the design includes a return bellows, the outlet is connected to it via air ducts.
