Installation and acceptance
To ensure safety, performance, and durability, the installation and acceptance of GRP Panel Water Tanks must follow these key specifications:
- Maintenance Clearance
During installation, a maintenance channel of no less than 700 mm must be reserved between the tank and the surrounding walls to allow for routine inspection and upkeep. Additionally, a clearance of at least 500 mm should be maintained above and below the tank to meet operational and maintenance requirements. - Foundation Preparation
During civil construction, support piers must be constructed in advance. When installing the tank, ensure that the joints of the bottom panel units are precisely aligned with the piers. This positioning is critical to maintaining the structural stability and safety of the water tank. - Full Water Testing
A full water test is a vital step in the final acceptance of the tank. Once assembly is complete, close the outlet and drain pipes, open the inlet pipe, and gradually fill the tank while checking for leaks. After the tank is filled, observe for 24 hours. If no seepage is detected, the tank is considered qualified.
